Meet the Head Pupils
Each year the school votes for a Head Boy and a Head Girl from Year 6. All children in Year 6 have the opportunity to be a candidate for Head Boy or Head Girl. Each candidate then presents their speech in assembly in front of the whole school and parents.
The following week is "Election Week" where each candidate canvasses the school and is available to answer questions from any of the prospective voters. At the end of "Election Week" each child votes for who they want to be their Head Boy and Head Girl. The vote consists of a secret ballot and each ballot paper is put into a ballot box to be counted. We hold a special assembly at the end of the week to announce to the whole school who will represent them for the academic year!
