School Uniform

  • At Lunsford Primary School, we believe that wearing our uniform helps children feel a strong sense of belonging and pride in being part of our school community. Our distinctive uniform reflects our values and encourages a positive attitude towards school life.

We ask that all children wear the correct uniform and that every item is clearly named.

Uniform Requirements

 

 
   

Winter Uniform

Boys

  • Grey or black trousers
  • White shirt (or collared white polo shirt)
  • Maroon sweatshirt with school motif
  • Black school shoes
  • Grey socks

Girls

  • Grey or black skirt, pinafore dress or trousers
  • White shirt (or collared white polo shirt)
  • Maroon sweatshirt or cardigan with school motif
  • Black school shoes (no heels)
  • Grey or white tights or socks

Summer Uniform

Boys

  • Grey or black trousers or shorts
  • White shirt (or collared white polo shirt)

Girls

  • Grey or black skirt, pinafore dress, trousers or long shorts
  • White shirt (or collared white polo shirt)
  • Maroon candy stripe or gingham summer dress

 

 

 

 

 

PE and Sport  

PE and Sports Kit

All children require:

  • Navy blue shorts
  • T-shirt in their house colour
  • Trainers
  • PE bag

Jewellery, Hair and Appearance

For safety reasons, children may only wear small stud earrings and a watch to school. Other jewellery is not permitted.

Long hair should be tied back. Extreme hairstyles, including tram lines and Mohican styles, are not permitted.

Trousers, skirts and other uniform items can be purchased from any high street retailer. Please ensure that all uniform items are clearly named.

Second-Hand and Unused Uniform

Through the support of parents and carers, Friends of Lunsford School (FoLS) collects donated uniform items which are then re-sold to raise additional funds to support activities and opportunities for all children at Lunsford Primary School.
