Keeping Safe Online

This Page is for Children.

At Lunsford Primary School, we want everyone to enjoy using technology safely and responsibly.

If you ever see something online that worries you, upsets you, or makes you feel uncomfortable, it is important that you tell a trusted adult straight away.

You can speak to:

  • Mrs Lomax, our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Online Safety Lead
  • Your class teacher
  • Any member of staff you trust

Remember: You are never in trouble for asking for help.


Our Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders help promote online safety across the school. They support other pupils in learning how to use the internet safely and responsibly and help share important online safety messages.


What Does Being Safe Online Mean?

Being safe online means:

  • Keeping your personal information private
  • Being kind and respectful to others online
  • Not talking to people you do not know
  • Using age-appropriate websites, apps and games
  • Telling a trusted adult if something worries you
  • Thinking carefully before sharing photos, videos or messages

S – Keep your personal information Safe

M – Never meet someone you only know Online

A – Never Accept messages, files or friend requests from strangers
