Who are FoLS?
Supporting Our School Community
Friends of Lunsford Primary School (FoLS) is the school's Parent Association and registered charity (Charity Number: 1174321).
All parents, carers and guardians of children attending Lunsford Primary School automatically become members of FoLS and are warmly invited to get involved.
FoLS was re-established in 2016 by a dedicated group of parent volunteers and continues to play an important role in supporting the school community. Through fundraising events, community activities and grant applications, FoLS helps to provide additional opportunities and resources that benefit all of our children.
Since 2017, funds raised by FoLS have contributed to a variety of projects and initiatives designed to enhance the school experience for pupils.
What Does FoLS Do?
FoLS works closely with the school to organise events and raise funds throughout the year. Popular events include:
- Summer Fair
- Mother's Day Tea and Cake Event
- Seasonal celebrations and family events
- Community fundraising activities
- Grant funding applications
As well as raising money, FoLS helps to strengthen our school community by bringing families, staff and children together.
