Pupil Wellbeing at Lunsford
Lunsford Primary is a nurturing school that supports and develops the wellbeing of all pupils. There are effective provisions and interventions to support pupils to manage their social, emotional and mental health needs and regulate their emotional wellbeing.
We operate an open door policy and have developed well-established parent/carer and school relationships. The Senior Leaderships team and the SENCO (special education needs co-ordinator) are available before and after school on the playground to raise any concerns impacting pupil’s wellbeing. In addition, all teachers are available after school to discuss any concerns.
Wellbeing is also monitored using a PASS survey to ensure all pupil’s wellbeing and attitude to learning are analysed and pupils causing concern are identified. Pupils are also discussed during Pupil Progress Meetings and SEN review meetings.
Provision and interventions to support and develop pupil’s wellbeing is secure and well established within the setting. We deliver a comprehensive response to pupil’s needs using a graduated approach. (see Social, Emotional and Mental Health waves 1, 2 and 3 interventions link)
